My all time favorite color, I wanted a Brindle Jindo as soon as I knew the breed came in this color. When the opportunity presented itself it did so in a little dog who far exceeded every expectation. HoSu is an outgoing youngster with a fearless personality and the kind of confident stable temperament with people and other dogs that I love. Friendly and loving to people, but guardy given reason for suspicion. She avidly hunts and retrieves vermin on the property.
HoSu's movement and sound structure has brought many positive comments. At 6 months of age, in one weekend, she completed her UKC Championship. At 10 months of age she was awarded Best In Show at an American Rare Breed Association and a Kennel Club USA show. At 13 months she returned to the ARBA/KC-USA invitational taking 2 ARBA and 3 KC-USA BIS awards. HoSu has also earned 3 UKC BIS awards while on her way to her Grand Championship, and twice has been IABCA Reserve Best Rare Breed In Show. In February of 2019 HoSu became the first Jindo to earn the AKC Certificate of Merit (equivalent of a championship for the breeds not yet fully recognized). HoSu has also excelled in lure coursing, hunting, and even does a little dog mushing.
We expect to breed HoSu for the very last time in spring of 2019. For more information please visit my Upcoming Litter page.
